Due to the predicted weather conditions for Saturday, December, 14, 2024, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Market at the Mount. We are in the process of contacting all vendors and volunteers involved with the event.
You'll feel welcome at Mount Mercy—many of our students have transferred in from other 2- and 4-year colleges. We make it an easy process by accepting up to 93 credits, providing personalized advising, and offering guaranteed admissions programs.
Attended more than one school? It's not unusual for our students to have attended several institutions before arriving at Mount Mercy University. To make sure we can transfer as many of your credits as possible, please request official transcripts from all of the previous institutions you attended.
Prior Learning Assessment – We allow up to 30 credits through APEL (Assessment of Prior Experiential Learning) which permits students to request that substantial work-related or other prior learning experiences and accomplishments be evaluated for potential academic credit.
Transfer Tool – Check to see which credits will transfer to Mount Mercy from other institutions you've attended.
With Mount Mercy’s 2+2 program, students transferring from an Iowa community college with their associate degree are typically able to complete their bachelor’s degree at Mount Mercy University in two years or less.
