Our accelerated programs are designed for busy working adults like you. Classes start every five weeks, so submit your application today. And with our generous transfer credit policies (up to 93 credits!), you’ll be well on your way to accomplishing your degree goal!

How to Apply

Degree-Seeking Students

  • Complete your application.

  • Request official transcripts from all schools previously attended. Mail to:

  • Check out our generous transfer credit policy and transfer plans.

  • If you are using employer reimbursement, please complete the Deferred Billing for Employer Reimbursement form.

  • NOTE: Per government policy, international students are unable to attend fully-online university programs in the United States. Unfortunately, we are unable to admit international students to online-only programs.

Readmits or Non-Degree Seeking Students

Admission Requirements

We're here to help you reach your goals. If you think you don't meet the following criteria, you may still qualify for admission after review by the Admissions Committee.

  • Program is designed for working adults
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
    • If your high school grades missed this mark, that's okay. We understand things change and that you may be ready for college now.
  • Graduates of Iowa community colleges who hold an associate degree with at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA will be automatically accepted for admission

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing from a regionally accredited college
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students with a GPA of less than 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission
  • Current, active RN license
  • Employed at least half-time in the nursing field
  • See catalog for specific documentation required prior to beginning the RN—BSN program
