About
Alondra Ray graduated from Utah Valley University with a BA in Family Science. After her time in Utah, Alondra moved back home to Iowa to continue her studies at Mount Mercy University with intentions to serve her community.
At her core, Alondra values the importance of living a full life and focuses on how human connection is the means to accomplish just that. Alondra believes therapy is the process of gaining knowledge about the self that leads to a renewed hope and energy to act amongst life’s challenges. Alondra is committed to embracing all individuals with all experiences and perspectives as they engage in healing through connection with their self and others.
With empathy at the forefront, Alondra will be receiving clients both as they are and with a mindset on their potential as she offers challenges to promote growth and concentrates on empowering clients. As a student therapist, Alondra is dedicated to working collaboratively with clients and is excited to see what life can look like for those she meets as she recognizes living a full life is different for all. As a Mexican American woman herself, Alondra is eager to support marginalized individuals and is excited to offer therapy also in the Spanish language.
Alondra enjoys spending time with family, traveling with friends, catching up on reality tv, and sipping an ice-cold fountain Dr. Pepper.
