It’s Homecoming Week at Mount Mercy! From swapping school-spirit gear and gathering with friends to cheering on the Mustangs, there are plenty of ways to celebrate and show your MMU spirit throughout the week.
Here is what students can look forward to during Mount Mercy’s 2026 Homecoming lineup:
Start Homecoming Week with the Student Activities Board (SAB) School Spirit T-Shirt Swap from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the University Center Commons. Stop by the table during lunch or dinner to swap an old T-shirt for some new Mount Mercy gear.
Join SAB and the Council for Student Athletes (CSA) for a Volleyball Block Party from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on the Rohde Family Plaza. Gather your friends for an evening of volleyball, activities, and a taco bar.
Test your luck at SAB Homecoming Bingo from 7:00 – 8:30 PM in the University Center Commons. Play alongside your fellow Mustangs for the chance to win prizes.
Light up the night with fellow Mustangs from 8:00 – 10:00 PM in the University Center Commons. Enjoy mini golf, laser tag, food, music, and more during this glow-themed celebration.
Bring your Mustang spirit to the University Center Commons from 7:30 – 10:00 PM. Celebrate the Homecoming court, get excited for Saturday’s game, and enjoy breakfast for dinner with your fellow Mustangs. Compete in class-versus-class activities, including dodgeball, line dancing, roller races, and tug-of-war to help crown the winning class of 2026.
Kick off Saturday with SAB and our Mount Mercy Alumni from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on the plaza of the Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex. Enjoy food, drinks, games, activities, and get ready to cheer on the Mustangs!
This year marks Mount Mercy’s first Homecoming football game! Gather at the Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex as the Mustangs take on William Penn University. The game begins at 11:00 AM, so be sure to show up in your blue and gold.
The Homecoming excitement continues with two Mustang soccer games against MidAmerica Nazarene University on Hadzic Field.
Cap off a memorable Homecoming with friends, food, live music, and lawn games, during a postgame celebration from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on the Rhode Family Plaza.
Join us Sunday at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of Mercy for a special Homecoming weekend Mass. All faiths are welcome as we reflect on Mount Mercy’s mission, pray for our Mustang community, and come together in a spirit of faith and fellowship.
