Mount Mercy University to hold Commencement exercises May 16

Mount Mercy University will hold Commencement exercises on Sunday, May 16 at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse and via livestream on Mount Mercy’s YouTube channel.

Graduating students and returning 2020 graduates will be divided into four smaller ceremonies to ensure the safety of all in attendance. Degrees will be conferred upon approximately 380 undergraduate students and 160 graduate students.

Alexandra Diersen of Solon, Melinda Brown of Marion, Samuel Meyers of Cedar Rapids, and Veronica Jons of Walker were selected as the student speakers for their respective ceremonies.

Friday, May 14
Virtual Honors Convocation | 4 p.m.

Sunday, May 16
Virtual Commencement Mass | 8 a.m.

Commencement Ceremony | 9 a.m.
PhD-MFT, MACJ, MAEd, MBA, MFT & MSL Graduates
Class of 2020 Graduates 

Commencement Ceremony | 11 a.m.
BA, BBA & BS Graduates—Business & Education
