Hesburgh Lecture | Heather Foucault-Camm

April 23
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Event details

You're invited to Mount Mercy University's Hesburgh Lecture, featuring Heather Foucault-Camm, presenting "Both Creation and Beginning: A Catholic's Vision of the Cosmos."

Monsignor Georges LeMaitre once said, 'It appeared to me that there were two paths to truth, and I decided to follow both of them.' Creation, the Big Bang - two paths, but one truth? And who, by the way, is Monsignor Georges LeMaitre? Together, we will seek to answer these questions as we consider the vastness of the Universe, its origins and end, as both a journey of continued scientific discovery and a powerful example of the glory of the Creator.
