Women in Leadership | Brooke Holahan
Event details
You're invited to the monthly Women in Leadership speaker event at our CRST International Graduate Center on Tuesday, December 9 where we will host Brooke Holahan, Family Wellness Case Manager at the House of Hope.
This event will take place in-person at our CRST International Graduate Center, located at 1650 Matterhorn Dr. NE, Cedar Rapids. Doors will open at 5:00 PM; come early to enjoy light bites and beverages. The presentation, "Empowering Women and Healthy Families," begins at 5:30 PM with time for questions and networking. Women in Leadership is a monthly discussion and networking event series, featuring women leaders sharing their experiences in education, nursing, business, and leadership. Anyone can attend and enjoy meeting local professionals as they recant their leadership stories.
Brooke Holahan, MSW, LISW, is a Family Wellness Case Manager at the House of Hope in Waterloo Iowa that serves single mothers and women who have spent time in out of home placement.
With over 25 years of experience working with children and families, she is passionate about improving family health and the prevention of ACES, Adverse Childhood Experiences. Brooke supports families with crisis management, education, holistic wellness, and teaches Trauma Responsive Yoga. She trains staff, students, and community members in trauma-informed care and strives to create a more trauma-responsive community. Her background includes roles as a school social worker, foster parent, CASA, and researcher.
Outside of her profession, Brooke is a wife and mother of three children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, yoga, and travel.
