Student Speakers

Lauren Imhoff ’22 graduated this December with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. As a first-generation student, Lauren was able to be more involved with campus and focus on her studies after being awarded the Catherine McAuley Scholarship—which also gave her the opportunity to join a supportive network of McAuley Scholars.

During her time on campus, Lauren founded Gen 1—a new club to uplift fellow first-generation students—and served as a Mustang Mentor, student leader for AmeriCorps, and Project Connect mentor.

bolts-adam.jpgAdam Bolts ’23 MAEd graduates this May with his Master of Arts in Education and an emphasis in English as a Second Language. As an English Teacher at Dunkerton High School, Adam inspires his students while continuing to learn and improve himself.

During his time on campus, Adam’s classes have pushed him to consider new avenues of instruction and alternative solutions to various classroom challenges, while balancing his professional responsibilities.
