Health Care Leadership—
Martin-Herold College of Nursing & Health

Mount Mercy University’s health care leadership degree is designed to help students with an AAS degree advance their careers.

The program enriches core leadership and builds business competencies through a series of courses and experiential learning opportunities focused on the many facets of health care.

Two options of study are available to help individuals meet personal and professional demands outside of class:

  1. Traditional on-campus, semester-long courses
  2. Evening/weekend accelerated courses offered in five-week and 10-week blocks throughout the year

Students in our health care leadership program will gain confidence in their leadership skills while applying their strategic business insights and knowledge of the health care industry.

Health care leadership majors gain hands-on experience in project management, research, scheduling, billing, and other activities related to health care management.
