Service & Volunteerism

Every week there are a number of campus-wide service experiences and outreach efforts. From local volunteer opportunities to service trips, discover the different ways for you to get involved.

Service Opportunities

From working with Kids Against Hunger, packaging boxes of food, building beds for children in Linn County, or performing service at the House of Hope, there is no shortage of ways to get involved and make a positive impact in the community. In fact, each student club and organization performs at least one service project every year. Campus Ministry also offers a wide variety of service opportunities.

f you are from a local non-profit agency who has volunteer opportunities available, please email Cara Reilly at creilly@mtmercy.edu with the event information.

It has been the most amazing experience MMU has brought me. I stepped out of my comfort zone. I met new friends. I learned a lot about MMU's history and have a new appreciation for the Sisters of Mercy.
