Apply for Graduation

Students must fill out and submit to the Registrar's Office the Application for Graduation.

We recommend that students fill out the graduation application with their registration for their final year of study. However, graduation applications will be accepted up to two (2) weeks prior to the graduation date. Only after application for graduation has been made can the Registrar's Office begin processing the necessary information for final certification of graduation.

Candidates must apply for graduation to initiate the final evaluation of their academic records, to place their names in the commencement program, and to begin the exiting process with the Financial Aid Office.Students who fail to complete all degree requirements within the academic year for which they applied will be required to re-apply for graduation.

You are only allowed to submit 1 application for graduation per academic year. If you need to make a correction or change on your application (commencement participation, name on diploma, etc.) after it has already been submitted, please contact registrar@mtmercy.edu.
