Our sports management track goes beyond basic classroom learning. It unites real-world experience with a strong curriculum to create tomorrow’s outstanding leaders.
Designed for people with a passion for athletics, this track will prepare you to manage, market, finance, and plan for local, regional, and national teams or sports organizations.
Mount Mercy has countless opportunities and programs like this that encourage students to step out of their comfort zones—both in and out of the classroom.
With four minor league teams in Cedar Rapids, internship opportunities are available in a variety of sports, including soccer, hockey, baseball, and arena football. Often, our student-athletes take on a leadership role in the community, mentoring and coaching middle- and high-school-aged students.
Interested in research? Students in business-related majors are encouraged to undertake faculty-guided research, allowing them to gain in-depth knowledge and professional experience even before graduation.
Mount Mercy offers competitive tuition and generous scholarships.
We also encourage all students to apply for federal, state, and other kinds of financial assistance.
