Providing clarity to the world

Focused on support and care.

Pre-professional programs are undergraduate tracks that prepare you for a professional degree after your bachelor's. These aren't academic majors, they're a set of specialized courses that are typically required before you can be accepted into your next program. Your advisor will help you decide the best major to pair with your pre-professional program and prepare you for your career goals.

Students interested in pre-optometry typically choose to major in biology or chemistrywhich offers a popular biochemistry track. Through the lens of our well-planned course schedule, double majors (or combinations of a major and minor) are easy to accomplish.

Beyond core courses in biology and chemistry, we offer classes unique to your pre-optometry interests, including molecular biology, genetics, immunology, and analytical chemistry.

With a very strong academic department and very caring professors, I cannot imagine training anywhere else. They provided me with the support and mentoring that prepared me to go on to medical school.
