What is a minor in entrepreneurship?

Turn ideas into opportunities.

The statistics minor provides students with the tools to collect and interpret data with confidence. As organizations increasingly rely on data to guide decisions, students develop skills in statistical reasoning and quantitative analysis that can be applied in many different professional settings. This minor complements many majors by helping students turn data into informed action.

Curriculum

Build a foundation for future-forward thinking.

The entrepreneurship minor introduces students to the principles of innovation and business development. Through coursework, students explore how entrepreneurs identify market opportunities and develop solutions for both customers and their communities.

Students gain an understanding of the entrepreneurial process, from concept development and planning to launching new ventures. Critical thinking and problem-solving remain at the forefront while helping students develop practical skills in decision-making.

Because entrepreneurship is valuable in every industry, the minor prepares students to think creatively and act strategically in a variety of professional settings. Whether students aspire to start their own business or drive innovation within an existing organization, they graduate with skills that can support success across many career paths.
