Preparing the Next Generation of Leaders

The need for Catholic K-12 school teachers is on the rise. The U.S. Bureau of
Labor Statistics has projected a 10 percent growth for all religion and philosophy post- secondary teachers, 3 percent growth for kindergarten and elementary
teachers, and 5 percent growth for all directors of religious activities and education from 2018–28.

With multiple levels of education, Mount Mercy fits wherever you are in your career. We want to foster interest in Catholic education by providing a clear pathway from high school through college — all the way to teaching your own students in your future classroom.
