The need for Catholic K-12 school teachers is on the rise. The U.S. Bureau of
Labor Statistics has projected a 10 percent growth for all religion and philosophy post- secondary teachers, 3 percent growth for kindergarten and elementary teachers, and 5 percent growth for all directors of religious activities and education from 2018–28.
With multiple levels of education, Mount Mercy fits wherever you are in your career. We want to foster interest in Catholic education by providing a clear pathway from high school through college — all the way to teaching your own students in your future classroom.

• Academic scholarships range from $10,000 - $20,000

Awarded by the Archdiocese to students from the Archdiocese of Dubuque pursuing a major in Religious Studies at Mount Mercy University. Pays for one-third of cost for major related courses - approximately $10,000 total over 4 years.
