Position Description

The Business Department at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is seeking candidates to fill a full-time teaching position in Accounting beginning Fall 2024. Qualified applicants must possess a Master’s degree or higher in Accounting and have earned the CPA credential. Other qualifications include: college-level teaching experience and relevant industry experience.

The candidate will be expected to teach all of the following courses: Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Tax Accounting, Advanced Tax Accounting and Governmental/Non-Profit Accounting. In addition, the candidate must be a team player with a willingness to contribute to the success of our students as well as a commitment to the overall success of the Business Department and the university as a whole.
