The management major prepares you to lead in a competitive and dynamic business environment. Mount Mercy’s faculty focus on developing in students the skills necessary for effective and efficient leadership and management of profit and not-for-profit organizations. The major provides flexibility for students to double major in other business fields and leads to a variety of career possibilities.
A wide variety of electives enable you to pursue special interest areas including international business, banking and finance, economics and human resources.
Career options with this major are broad and diverse. With a degree in management, a person can work in a managerial capacity within the financial, manufacturing, retailing, or service sectors.
