  • You must be admitted to the University before January 31, 2017 to participate.
  • If you have not yet applied, or if you have not completed all the steps of the application process (such as submitting official transcripts and standardized test scores), please do so as soon as possible.

What happens on Scholarship Day?

  • Students attending will participate in a 10 minute casual interview with a Mount Mercy faculty member.  The interview helps us get to know you better and helps you learn more about us!
  • In addition to interviews, there will be an academic information fair, financial aid panel, alumni panel, and other sessions where you can learn more about us and meet members of the Mount Mercy community (students, faculty, staff, and alumni).
  • Following the luncheon, students may also audition or interview for a Music or Talent scholarship in Art & Design, Theatre, or Writing.  For audition/portfolio requirements and to schedule an audition/interview, please see www.mtmercy.edu/talentThe Music or Talent scholarships are in addition to scholarship dollars earned at Scholarship Day (except the full tuition).

Directions to Campus

Campus Map

  • Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Busse Center and includes a continental breakfast for you and your guests.  Parking is available in the Prairie Drive Lot (see campus map) and guides will direct you to the Busse Center. The day’s program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 1:00 p.m.  Optional campus tours and special talent auditions/interviews will be offered following the program.
  • Students please dress comfortably, but appropriately.  “Business casual” is fine, but it’s winter in Iowa and we’ll be moving between buildings on campus – so you’ll still want a coat!
