Courses are offered one night per week or one Saturday morning per week for either a 5-week or 10-week block. This innovative format allows you to focus on one class at a time instead of juggling coursework of two, three or even four classes which are typical of a traditional college course format. The majority of your nursing core classes will be offered on a Wednesday night, with general education classes fluctuating throughout the weekday and Saturday schedule.
Evening & Weekend Class Schedule
Monday through Friday nights from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM or Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These class times will allow students to maintain a job, family, and still pursue their degree.
Get instruction in person, with professors face to face, interacting with fellow students.
We accept transfer credits up to 60 credit hours in most cases with up to 75 credit hours from Kirkwood Community College and Hawkeye Community College. If you have a Bachelor degree in another field plus your Associate Degree in Nursing you may be able to complete the program in as little as 12 months.
