MMU virtual Scholarship Fest provides outlet for student research, art, music

Mount Mercy prides itself on our instructor-scholars, a dedicated group of faculty committed equally to teaching in their discipline and to mentoring students in research and creative works—culminating in the annual Scholarship Festival.

To celebrate student work, the virtual Scholarship Festival will premier on Mount Mercy’s website on Monday, May 3. Highlights of the 2021 virtual festival include:

  • “Class, Race, and Gender in Latin American Film” by education student Bethany Darling
  • “The Intersection of Science Communication” by science marketing student Gwen Johnson
  • “Nurturing Athletes’ Needs During Injury Rehabilitation” by psychology and marketing student Kaleb Hagge
