Little ghosts and goblins filled the hill last night for Mount Mercy University’s 2017 Halloween on the Hill. A long-standing Mount Mercy tradition and favorite student-volunteer opportunity, local kids visited campus for a night of ghoulish games, spooky stories, freaky fun, frightening food and trick-or-treating in multi-level haunted house.

Mount Mercy University will host alumnus Danny Mishek, president and founder of SelfEco, on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Sisters of Mercy University Center Commons as part of the Barbara A. Knapp Business Speaker Series. Mishek will present “EcoPreneurship: How Businesses Can Make Money and Make a Difference.”

Mount Mercy University is now offering online courses to audit at a greatly reduced tuition rate for staff members, teachers, and volunteers in the Catholic Archdiocese of Dubuque parishes and schools. The Center of Learning for the Church (CLC), created in consultation with the Archdiocese, allows for any five-week, online undergraduate course to be audited for the low cost of only $150 per course, with the approval of an MMU advisor.
