Each year, Mount Mercy selects one incoming freshman to receive the Sister Mary Ildephonse Holland Scholarship, a full-tuition award. The Holland Scholar is selected based on ACT score and cumulative GPA, community service and extra-curricular activities, as well as participation in the university’s Scholarship Day Invitational. This year, Kennidee De Vilbiss from Ossian, Iowa was selected from a group of 100 applicants. Kennidee was a valedictorian of South Winneshiek High School class of 2014. She was involved in track, cross country, and choir.

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Three members of the Mount Mercy women's cross country team will race at the NAIA national meet after leading the Mustangs to a third-place finish at the 2011 Midwest Collegiate Conference Championships on Saturday at the Dubuque Soccer Complex. Full story >
