American artist Robert Shetterly and his Americans Who Tell the Truth traveling portrait exhibit will be on Mount Mercy University’s campus April 4–7. Shetterly will host a Q&A session and artist talk on April 6, and will join classes during the week to discuss his work. The portraits and narratives highlight citizens who courageously address issues of social, environmental and economic fairness. By combining art and other media, the exhibit offers resources to inspire a new generation of engaged Americans who will act for the common good, our communities and the Earth.

Mount Mercy's Janalyn Hanson White Gallery will showcase the digital photographs of Assistant Professor of Art Jose Clemente during a special exhibit titled "Digital Color and Texture." The exhibit runs September 7 – October 7, Monday – Friday, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Mount Mercy University will showcase the capstone projects of senior art students during a three-part Senior Thesis Exhibit at the Janalyn Hanson White Gallery, April 16 – May 21. After a year of research, concept development, and studio work, each Mount Mercy art senior exhibits a selection of their Senior Thesis work.
