From Books and Blackboards to Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality: Peering off the Precipice of a Demographic Cliff in a New Age of Technology
Presented by Richard Barrett | Associate Professor of Political Science
Higher education faces twin challenges in adapting to new technology—especially AI—that changes both what students need to learn and how they learn. Meanwhile, the percentage of people choosing to go to college is decreasing and we move toward a shrinking college age population. While these headwinds may seem daunting, key parts of the best response may not be much different from what professors should do even if these forces were not in our future.
