The cost is $50 per student. Registration is available for students attending participating Catholic schools and ends June 2, 2023. For more information, please contact Philip Drey at pdrey@mtmercy.edu

Schedule of topics

Topics will be discussed according to the following schedule. Each morning will include presentations and
discussions as well as abundant question-and-answer time for students. A Teaching Mass and Eucharistic
adoration will be available. Additional topics may be raised by student as well.
  • How do I live my faith according to a Catholic worldview?
  • Why do bad things happen to good people? Why does God allow so much suffering in my life and the world?
  • What is love?
  • What is the meaning and purpose of my life?
  • Who/what is God? Can I prove God exists?
  • Did Jesus actually rise from the dead? What is the proof?
  • Can I believe in evolution and the Biblical creation stories?
  • Why is Catholicism true and how can I argue for it without arrogance?
  • What happens after I die? Do heaven, hell, and purgatory exist and, if they do, what are they like?
  • How can hell exist if God is all-loving and all-forgiving?
  • Is the devil real?
