Scholarship Day is a great way to earn additional scholarship dollars to attend Mount Mercy University. Scholarships of $500 up to full-tuition are available (renewable for 4 years).

Students who are interested in a music or other talent scholarship (art & design, theater, writing) may also audition/submit materials on this day.

Eligibility

  • Scholarship Day is focused on high school students who have been admitted to Mount Mercy University as incoming freshmen for Fall 2019.
  • You must be admitted to the University before January 15, 2019 to participate.
  • If you have not yet applied, or if you have not completed all the steps of the application process, please do so as soon as possible.

What happens on Scholarship Day?

  • Students attending will participate in a 10-minute casual interview with a Mount Mercy faculty member. The interview helps us get to know you better and helps you learn more about us!
  • In addition to interviews, there will be an academic information fair, financial aid presentation, and other sessions where you can learn more about us and meet members of the Mount Mercy community (students, faculty, staff, and alumni).
  • Following the luncheon, students may also audition a music scholarship. Student interested in art & design and writing can drop of their portfolios/works. For audition/portfolio requirements, please see mtmercy.edu/talentThe music or creative talent scholarships are in addition to scholarship dollars earned at Scholarship Day (except the full tuition).
  • Campus tours will also be available after the luncheon.
