2017 Series Overview

August 29, 2017 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm | Betty Cherry Heritage Hall

The Fall Faculty Series kicks off with an overview of governance in America today: what it is, how it has been formed, and how it functions. Dr. Richard Barrett will provide anchor points for the rest of the series to explore the role of federal and local government, the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and what it means to live in a representative democracy. Whether you consider yourself politically active or you need to brush up on Civics 101, please join us for this presentation and conversation.

This event is part of the  2017 Fall Faculty Series — Divided We Fall: Finding Common Ground in a Fractured Age.

Assistant Professor of Political Science Dr. Richard Barrett will present.
