Friday, February 7, 2014 is the National Wear Red Day designed to bring awareness of heart disease in women. We are encouraging members of the campus community to wear red to raise awareness of heart disease in women. One in three women’s death in the U.S. is caused by heart disease.
Health Services and Recreation and Wellness will have an information table in the Hilltop Walkway from 11am – 1pm to promote heart health awareness. We will be doing blood pressure checks and BMI readings. In addition, we have healthy snacks that we will be handing out to those that stop by.
