Alumni Spotlight: Tony Dickinson ’02

How fortunate I was to go to MMU. A special place where I met some amazing people & have shared some incredible experiences. It feels like the MMU family has been with me every step along the way since graduation.

One of the most impactful experiences I had at MMU was in Enactus. Post-graduation I’ve met some amazing MMU students while supporting as an alumnus. Very proud of Dr. Klein & his leadership & all their success!

MMU instilled a spirit a giving back in me. The Sisters of Mercy teachings were very apparent. Through SIFE I worked on my first Habitat home. Since college, I’ve been to New Orleans with Habitat after Katrina & worked on 20+ homes. I was able to present a family with the keys to their new home. The spirit of Mercy lives on in all Alumni.

Since graduating in ‘02 life has been full of excitement!

I’ve worked for three companies. Business is a team sport & I’ve been fortunate to work with some great people.

One of the cool & rewarding things I love to do is volunteer in the community. Even better when my company supports the cause. Recently we gave back to the Boys & Girls Club’s capital campaign, where I serve as vice-chair & on the board as past president.

I always love being back on campus. Homecoming is especially a great time!

The opening of our Plaster Athletic Complex, which provided our school a “Home Field Advantage,” is one of the things I’m most proud of & honored to have been a small part of.

One of my best friends from MMU is Mike Wehr. Proud of him & all that he’s accomplished. It was a cool experience introducing him into the Mustang Hall of Fame.
