MMU info session highlights graduate, accelerated undergraduate, online programs

Mount Mercy University will offer a Graduate, Accelerated Undergraduate & Online Programs Information Session on Tuesday, March 6, 5:30–7 p.m., at the university’s CRST International Graduate Center.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet academic advisers and program directors, tour the Graduate Center, review program information, speak with financial aid, and meet other interested students in a relaxed, open-house setting. Light refreshments will be provided.

“Mount Mercy’s graduate, accelerated undergraduate and online programs are designed for working professionals,” said Tiffany Digman, coordinator of adult programs. “Purposefully, our face-to-face accelerated undergraduate and grad courses are offered one to two nights per week for either a 5-week or 10-week session. Also, our online programs don’t have required log-in times. This allows for flexibility, providing our students with time to work and enjoy family—while also earning the same respected degree as our on-campus students, at their own pace.”

Doctoral programs offered include: nursing practice (DNP) and marriage and family therapy (DMFT).

Master’s programs available include: business administration (MBA), criminal justice, education, marriage & family therapy, nursing, and strategic leadership.

Accelerated undergraduate programs available include: accounting, applied management, business, finance, health care administration, health care leadership, human resource management, management information systems, marketing, and RN to BSN.

Degrees that can be earned online include: BBA: business administration, BBA: human resource management, BBA: management, BS: health care administration, BSN: RN to BSN, MA: criminal justice, and MBA: business administration.

Mount Mercy’s CRST International Graduate Center—located at 1650 Matterhorn Drive NE in Cedar Rapids—is a quiet, comfortable space dedicated to graduate students. The newly renovated space features a coffee shop, 200-person auditorium, state-of-the-art computer lab, classrooms, study space, common areas, and convenient and ample parking.
