Registration for Live2Lead leadership conference still open


Mount Mercy University's CRST International Graduate Center has been selected, for the second year in a row, to host John Maxwell’s powerful Live2Lead simulcast leadership conference on Oct. 9., 7:45 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

This event, sponsored by ActionCOACH Heartland, will equip eastern Iowans with new leadership tactics and tools to assist in becoming leaders in the workplace by live broadcasting nationally renowned speakers on the topic of leadership. Live2Lead will broadcast from Atlanta to more than 300 locations in 20 varying countries.

Attendees will listen to presentations by four leadership experts such as Maxwell, Patrick Lencioni, Valorie Burton and Kevin Turner.

Maxwell, who will be presenting on his upcoming book “Intentional Living,” is a New York Times bestselling author who has sold more than 25 million books and was identified as the number one leader in business.

Lencioni is the founder and president of The Table Group which focuses on providing tactics to improve teamwork and engagement in organizations, and will be presenting on his recent book, “The Advantage.”

Burton will present on how to thrive thorough challenges and maximize opportunities. She is a bestselling author, life coach and founder of The Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute where she has helped hundreds of clients in more than 40 states and 10 countries.

Turner is Microsoft’s chief operating officer and leads the global sales and marketing organization.

Mount Mercy employees and students, as well as the public, are welcome to attend this event to equip themselves with skills certain to enhance leadership. General admission tickets are $97 for general public and $27 for students. Tickets that include the VIP Lunch Think Tank are available for $147.
