As the university’s strategic and operational leader on matters related to enrollment, Callahan will play a central role in implementing Mount Mercy’s strategic plan and recruitment strategies.
He brings 10 years experience as a senior level administrator from three higher education institutions in Maine, Ohio, and New York. Callahan previously served as vice president for enrollment management at Thomas College in Maine, where the institution saw three years of record breaking enrollment under his leadership.
While at Thomas College, he also led the enrollment division in developing and implementing a comprehensive student recruiting and marketing plan, and was instrumental in establishing new international partnerships in China and South Korea.
Callahan is pursuing his Ph.D. from Northcentral University in Prescott, Ariz. He holds a Master of Science in business administration and a Bachelor of Science in marketing management from Thomas College.
