Mount Mercy’s Ridgeway named to CASE District VI Board of Directors

Mount Mercy University's Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations Duff Ridgeway has been elected to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VI Board of Directors for 2012-2015.

Nominations for the Board of Directors were solicited from CASE District VI members through broadcast email notifications. The results were shared at the annual meeting in Denver, Colo. on January 8.

In addition to being voted in during the annual meeting, Ridgeway was also invited to speak at the "Expanding Horizons" CASE District VI conference January 8-10, where he presented "Using Your Leadership Strengths to Secure Major Gifts," during the development track break-out sessions.

"It is an honor to be selected to serve CASE in this new appointment," says Ridgway. "This will provide Mount Mercy with even more opportunities to be directly exposed to emerging issues, cultures and trends related to the advancement arena."

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. CASE helps its members build stronger relationships with their alumni and donors, raise funds for campus projects, produce recruitment materials, market their institutions to prospective students, diversify the profession, and foster public support of education.

Mount Mercy University is a member of CASE District VI, representing institutions from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
