Mount Mercy University is dedicated to providing 100 percent of full-time freshmen some form of institutional financial aid. During the last academic year, Mount Mercy provided $8.1 million in scholarship support to undergraduates.
In keeping with this commitment to make educational opportunities accessible and affordable, Mount Mercy University is pleased to announce a new scholarship, the Archdiocese of Dubuque Parish Award, which will be offered starting fall semester 2011.
The award will be in the amount of $500 and is renewable for up to four years. Each parish in the Dubuque Archdiocese will select one new student, freshman or transfer, to receive the award. The student must be enrolled in Mount Mercy’s traditional undergraduate program. Parish priests may recommend a student for the award by contacting Mount Mercy’s Student Financial Service Center.
In addition to the Archdiocese of Dubuque Parish Award, Mount Mercy offers numerous other scholarship and grant opportunities, including the Presidential Scholarship, Distinguished Honor Scholarship, Honor Scholarship and Collegiate Award, scholarships with awards ranging from $4,000 – $15,000.

• Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship | $750
Leadership and service awards are available to incoming freshman, recognizing students for their leadership, innovation and achievement.
