Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa Partners with Mount Mercy University to Pilot New Experiential Learning Program

Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa (JAEI) partnered with Mount Mercy University to pilot the Busse Foundation JA Finance Park® Mobile learning experience. The event was honored with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Mount Mercy’s campus on January 17, 2024, followed by a 2-day student engagement experience, where Mount Mercy’s Personal Financial Planning class got to interact with the exhibit and local business leaders.

Mount Mercy University and SCC partner on 4-year education degree

Mount Mercy University signed an agreement to provide Southeastern Community College students a path to a bachelor's degree in education. Now, students who complete SCC's two-year education program can easily transfer to Mount Mercy to earn their bachelor's and a teaching certification.

Due to a threat made on social media currently under investigation, the Cedar Rapids Community School District has canceled all classes and activities on all school sites for Monday, October 2. Mount Mercy University does not plan to close at this time.
