Mount Mercy Cedar Rapids Dance Marathon

Cedar Rapids Dance Marathon supports families in the Cedar Rapids area who have kids battling a terminal illness. Dancers will fundraise money for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital and celebrate the amount raised at a 12-hour dance. This is where dancers stay on their feet through dancing, games, and entertainment. Why stay on your feet for that long? To quote the first Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon's mnission statement: "We dance for those who can't."

Mount Mercy works with students from Coe College and Kirkwood Community College to be the only Dance Marathon in the nation incorporating more than one campus.
