Dr. O'Neill’s field of inquiry is Leadership and Change specializing in culture and communication. She has worked in Japan, Qatar, Guatemala, Argentina, the United States, Jamaica, and the Central Pacific nation of Kiribati.

From 2001–2016, Dr. O’Neill was an undergraduate and graduate faculty member with the College of Business at Zayed University (United Arab Emirates) as well as a graduate faculty member in the College of Communication and Media. Dr. O'Neill also directed the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and Master of Management in International Business (MMIB) programs. Dr. O’Neill has been an educator and education advisor with the Japanese Ministry of Education (MONBUSHO), the University of Alaska, and the United States Peace Corps.

Dr. O’Neill is also a government and industry consultant providing services to organizations including the Qatar Foundation, MashreqBank, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company group (ADNOC), Cleveland Clinic, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Raytheon, and RasGas. She creates innovative solutions for complex environments on issues related to leadership, change management, organization development, business communication, employee engagement, and cross-cultural/inter-cultural workplace relations and team development.

With a Master’s degree specializing in Adult Education, Dr. O’Neill is an expert facilitator with extensive experiential learning, classroom teaching, and coaching experience.  Dr. O’Neill teaches Management, Leadership, Cross-cultural Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic HRM, Change Management, and Internal Communication.
