Each year, Student Engagement takes students, faculty, and staff to Ireland—where Catherine McAuley founded the Sisters of Mercy in 1831.

A trip rich with history, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Ireland’s capital city as well as beautiful countryside castles and natural landmarks.

2018 Ireland Trip

March 17–24, 2018

$2,500 fee includes:

  • All transportation including round trip flight, transportation to and from the airport, and motor coach in Ireland
  • 7 nights at 3 & 4-star hotels
  • Breakfast, dinner, and most lunches
  • Visits to Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel, Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Clonmacine, Ballintubber Abbey, Kilkenny Castle, Marian Shrine at Knock Mercy Center, and more!
  • Guided Tour of Dublin
  • Luggage Tags and Souvenir Video
  • Insurance Coverage


$2,500 can be paid at one time or broken up into the following Payment Schedule:

$300 deposit to reserve your spot
$500 due October 1
$500 due November 1
$500 due December 11
$700 due January 29

Participants will receive $200 cash back to use and keep for the Ireland Trip. Only 25 spots are available. Money is nonrefundable after December 11.
