G.R.E.E.N. Outdoor Recreation Club

The G.R.E.E.N. Outdoor Recreation Club is involved in may outdoor activities. It provides many opportunities for its members to participate in events including mountain climbing, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, spelunking, sky diving, mountain biking, cycling, paint balling, and many other activities that are chosen by club members. The club also participates in organized bike rides around Iowa including RAGBRAI. The club puts great emphasis on the conservations of nature and participates in local events that help raise environmental awareness. Club members will be given the opportunity to gain community service hours by volunteering with the club during various activities. The club will hold regular fundraisers that members will be able to participate in if they so choose.
No experience is necessary to be a member.

G.R.E.E.N. Outdoor Recreation Club at Club Friday

Mount Mercy University students constructed sculptures out of recyclable material at Green Club Friday on March 2. Club Friday is held every week at Mount Mercy to help kick off the weekend! This Club Friday was organized by G.R.E.E.N. Outdoor Recreation Club to promote sustainability and the RecycleMania competition taking place on campus.
