Five Seasons Chamber Music Festival participants play in orchestras and ensembles for a week of musical growth and adventure culminating in three gala concerts. World-class faculty lead the chamber ensembles which include string / piano, harp, flute / woodwinds, and brass.
Since 2003 the Five Seasons Chamber Music Festival has brought together musicians of all ages and levels of study to play chamber music ranging in scope from duets to string orchestras, and in time from Haydn and Mozart to living American composers. Younger students routinely play over their heads as they match up with more experienced musicians. Adult players rediscover their love of an instrument they laid down years ago. Faculty sit alongside students in the orchestra, whether on the first stand or in the section.
Tuition is $285 for the week (includes lunch Monday-Friday). For special dietary concerns please email festival director Stephanie Wagor, or contact her at 319-365-1510. To register, please contact Stephanie Wager
