Education Department Adjunct Positions

Mount Mercy University is a Catholic, coeducational University founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928 enrolling nearly 1800 students. The University offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs on our picturesque campus overlooking the city of Cedar Rapids.

Mount Mercy University invites applications from persons interested in part-time teaching positions within the Education Department. 

Immediate openings are anticipated in the following areas for Fall 2017:

K-8 Music
K-12 ESL

Additional openings are anticipated in the following areas in the near future:

K-8 Reading
5-12 Science
5-12 Math
5-12 Business
5-12 English/Language Arts
Educational Psychology

Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Education and/or content area and related K-12 classroom teaching experience. Candidates must also hold or be eligible for Iowa teaching licensure in the content area where they will teach.
