Computer Science Adjunct Positions

Mount Mercy University is a Catholic, coeducational University founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928 enrolling 1800+ students. The University offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs on our picturesque campus overlooking the city of Cedar Rapids.

Mount Mercy University invites applications from persons interested in part-time teaching in the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences.  We are looking for computer scientists to teach a variety of courses in Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters in day and evening programs. 

Fall 2018

CS 190: Computer Organization (C)
CS 302: Programming Languages
CS 389: Algorithm Analysis (evening)

Spring 2019

CS 235: Systems Programming Concepts (C)
CS 399: Embedded Systems


Candidates must have a M.S. in computer science or a related field; prior teaching experience strongly preferred. Applicants with other specialties are encouraged to apply as new courses may become available.
