Computer Science Adjunct Positions

Mount Mercy University is a Catholic, coeducational University founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928 enrolling nearly 1800 students. The University offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs on our picturesque campus overlooking the city of Cedar Rapids.

Mount Mercy University invites applications from persons interested in part-time teaching in the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences. We are looking for computer scientists to teacha variety of courses in Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters in day and evening programs.

CS 103: Introduction to Website Development in the day program. (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
CS 105: Fundamental of Computer Science in the evening program. (Java)
CS 106: Data structure in the evening program. (Java)
CS 190: Computer organization in the evening program.
CS 235: Systems programming in the evening program.
CS 315: Web Programming in day program. (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL)
CS 399: Robotics in day program

Candidates must have a M.S. in computer science or a related field; prior teaching experience strongly preferred. Applicants with other specialties are encouraged to apply as new courses may become available.
