Mount Mercy University is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant in Women’s Volleyball. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach in all aspects of the coaching and management of the Women’s Volleyball program; assisting and supporting game-day preparation; and execution and participation in all aspects of recruiting student-athletes.
Additionally, the graduate assistant in Women’s Volleyball will coach the junior varsity team and collaborate with the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications with game day preparation including setup of relevant technology (video, audio, livestream production) as well as social media curation.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to support the Mount Mercy University mission as a Catholic university providing student-focused education in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy. The assistantship requires acceptance and enrollment in one of the approved Mount Mercy University master’s degree programs. The position offers tuition forgiveness and a small stipend. Housing and meals are the responsibility of the GA. 20 hours of work per week is required.
