Mount Mercy University is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant for Academic Support Programs within our Academic Center for Excellence (ACE). This position will support all ACE staff and support programs with a primary focus on assisting our Access & Disability Services Coordinator and students as they work through the accommodations process. Primary responsibilities will include assisting students and faculty with the accommodation process, proctoring exams, and data tracking while maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. The GA will meet individually with students to support their academic goals making appropriate referrals to ACE staff or other campus resources as needed. This position involves working directly with students and ACE staff and will assist in evening support and supervision of peer educators (student employees). Candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in MS365 including Outlook, OneDrive, Excel and Mail Merge.

This position requires an individual to work 20 hours per week on the Mount Mercy main campus in our Academic Center for Excellence. Flexible daytime and evening hours are required. This position offers a stipend and tuition reimbursement toward one of Mount Mercy’s Master’s Degree programs.
