Assistant Professors of Business

Mount Mercy University is a Catholic, coeducational University founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928 enrolling nearly 1800 students on our picturesque campus overlooking the city of Cedar Rapids. The University offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, online, and graduate degree programs.

Mount Mercy University seeks to fill a faculty position to join a strong, forward-looking Business Department beginning Fall 2020. Successful candidates will have a commitment to student outcomes, program vitality, and key faculty roles. Contributing actively to new initiatives is expected, including curriculum development and partnerships with local organizations.

Appointment as Assistant Professor is anticipated, with rank and tenure track status to be determined based on candidate qualifications. Seeking candidate to teach Human Resources, Law, Marketing, or Sport Management courses depending upon applicant background.

Master’s degree in Management/Business or MBA is required; doctoral degree in Management is preferred or candidates possessing a JD. Successful university level teaching experience is required, with traditional (preferred), non-traditional, or online teaching desirable.
