Position Summary

Mount Mercy University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach two to three sections of Sociology courses during the 2023-2024 academic year. Courses available include: Global Race Relations (Fall 2023), Social Inequality (Spring 2024), and Deviant Behavior (Spring 2024). These courses meet twice a week for 80 minutes on Mount Mercy’s campus. Fall 2023 semester begins August 23, 2023. Spring 2024 semester begins January 22, 2024.

Additional opportunities are likely for future semesters, so applicants will also be placed into a pool of eligible individuals going forward.
