The university offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs on a picturesque campus overlooking the city of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Position Summary

Mount Mercy University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach HI 130: Emergence of The West, 800-1648, in our undergraduate program during the fall 2022 semester. This course is part of the history domain within the university’s core curriculum. 

This course will be taught in-person at the following time and days of the week:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM - 10:50 AM.

Candidates need a master’s degree in history or related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Screening of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
