Position Summary

Mount Mercy University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach BI 125 – Foundations of Biology I Lab in our undergraduate program for the fall semester of 2022. This course is taken predominantly by first-year biology, chemistry and exercise science majors and focuses on the scientific method and introductory cellular and molecular biology material. 

We are looking for an instructor that can teach in person in one or two sections of this course that meet:

  • Tuesdays from 8:00 AM - 10:50 AM and/or
  • Tuesdays from 11:00 AM - 1:50 PM.

Candidates should have a doctorate or masters’ degree in biology or a related field, or be working towards completion of their degrees. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Screening of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
