Bachelor of Science in Nursing Assistant Professor

Mount Mercy University is a Catholic, coeducational University founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928 enrolling approximately 1600 students.  The University offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs.

Mount Mercy’s Martin-Herold College of Nursing and Health (MHCNH) is the University’s first-ever named college with 400+ nursing students and 40+ health care students across its undergraduate and graduate programs. The MHCNH is currently searching for a faculty member at the rank of assistant professor in the undergraduate program.

Candidates must hold a Master's of Science in Nursing degree with a clinical specialty, preferably in medical/surgical and/or pediatric nursing.  A doctoral degree is preferred. Experience in teaching at the baccalaureate level is desired as isat least two years of clinical experience.

The successful candidate must also demonstrate a willingness to support Mount Mercy’s mission as a Catholic universityproviding student-focused education in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy.
