Mount Mercy is planning a safe return to campus for Fall 2020 with the appropriate and necessary COVID-19 safety measures in place at our athletic facilities.

Fitness Classes

Classes are taught in a judgment-free environment in Lundy Fitness Center. All levels of ability are welcome in the classes. Classes are open to current Mount Mercy University students and employees only. 

Noon Yoga | Monday & Wednesday | 12–1 PM
Afternoon Yoga | Tuesday & Thursday | 3–4 PM
Classes are taught by certified yoga instructors. The yoga instruction is for individuals of all abilities to develop strong, healthy bodies; calm, content minds; and receptive, open hearted spirits, which will help them become fully present in their lives and the world around them.

Kickboxing | Monday & Wednesday | 4:30–5:15 PM
Increase your core, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance with interval training and kickboxing. No experience is necessary. The instructor will modify moves to accommodate the participants. Bring your water bottle and give the class a try.

Intramurals

These are just a few of the many social events we plan for our students and members of the Mount Mercy community. Events are open to those who are interested in meeting new people, and having fun! We look forward to seeing you every time we plan one of these events and we promise to do our best to make it as fun as possible for everyone!

Even if you do not have a team to play for, you can still sign up and your Intramural Assistants will find you a team to join.

Hennessey Recreation Center

  • By appointment only (24-hour notice)
  • Individual and small group practices only
